In this luxurious, accessible home project, we reimagined the bathroom layout to enhance both functionality and elegance. The removal of a corner spa and bidet allowed us to ensure a wheelchair-accessible space, incorporating a dual-purpose vanity with pocket doors for a sleek, standard appearance when closed. The spaces feature opulent marbled porcelain panels and a custom vanity that extends the marble look, including a mirrored recessed kicker and concealed cistern. Luminous strip lighting and heavy-duty hinges complete the design, ensuring both luxury and practicality. We lowered the vanity to accommodate both wheelchair and standing users and a curved wall now provides an ideal wheelchair turn radius, with a shower seat, wall recess storage, and accessible hand shower. Non-slip porcelain panels were chosen for safety and seamless integration.
